Hello, I'm Ariane Saltoris de Melo, a Brazilian writer from Rio de Janeiro who has lived in Europe since 2006. Beyond my work as a professional author and ghostwriter, I'm the publisher of Caipora, a publishing house dedicated to exporting Tropical Gothic and Brazilian folklore among other literary works.
We also publish bilingual children's books that help Brazilian children abroad maintain their native language. My background in Performing Arts, which I acquired in Hamburg, Germany, enriches my creative work. Today, I live and work with my family in Berlin.
As a ghostwriter, I bring my unique experience as an actress and novelist to capture the authentic voice of my clients. My theater background has given me a deep understanding of character development and personality nuances, while my experience in fictional writing helps me transform true stories into captivating and unforgettable narratives.
Over the years, I've collaborated with American and German agencies, developing biographical and technical works—always with the goal of preserving the authenticity of the original narrative voice while strengthening the emotional connection with the audience. Each project represents an opportunity for me to combine narrative technique with the art of perspective-shifting, creating texts that truly touch people.
I have no hesitation engaging with life's serious topics—including death. Grief, memories, and preserving stories are as much a part of writing for me as any other facet of life. A well-crafted farewell can be as meaningful as a comprehensive biography.
As an expat for over 17 years, I understand the challenges and subtleties of intercultural storytelling firsthand. Whether you're an entrepreneur sharing your international journey, documenting your professional career, or an organization aiming to reach a global audience—I bring both the technical expertise and cultural sensitivity needed to tell your story authentically and effectively in any market.
